We're around 10 minutes away from Indian River, Michigan's biggest attractions, like the Burt Lake State Park, Burt Lake, Seven Springs Nature Preserve, Agnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve, the National Shrine of the Cross in the Woods and the river our town was named after: Indian River.
You can also hop onto a ferry and visit Mackinac Island, which is a gorgeous island in Michigan that does not use vehicles for transportation. This means you get to explore the town up close as you bike, walk or ride a horse around the area. The island is located on Lake Huron and is only around eight miles in size. You can also visit Fort Mackinac; this fort is a cluster of walled buildings on a bluff.
